I used TCE which is similar to version 3.

I wrote it up as part of the Battle of Callincum replays:

Callinicum with Fantasy Rules

I liked it, it plays well for historical replays and would play it again.

I do not have Pride of Lions. It sounds good, but I am not sure it would size down to a 2x2 board. Maybe 2x3. I have a bunch of other rules to try out for 2'x'2 so PoL is not the list. If it is suitable for 2x2, then I would be happy to give it a go.Shaun Travershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05691522858410783769noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8394777082320559161.post-44645127349604109062012-01-19T07:07:26.768+10:002012-01-19T07:07:26.768+10:00Thanks for this report. Or Chipco's Fantasy Rules?

Sounds like a lot of people really like Rally Round the King I'll have to get a copy.

Iain

www.castlekits.comIainhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17992087349516989425noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8394777082320559161.post-17921618087022263872011-10-08T02:51:51.942+10:002011-10-08T02:51:51.942+10:00Nice report Shaun.

You simply rendered them ineffective. You could do what is done in AMW. When 75% of the army is been destroyed, the battle is over. usually when you get down that low, it is over anyway.

Like the 50% rule.Johnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17580996687227953658noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8394777082320559161.post-57466063883669411362011-10-08T00:16:53.084+10:002011-10-08T00:16:53.084+10:00Great AAR. I had the impression there isn't much maneuvering, just push the figures together and roll the dice. Your game makes me think I'm wrong which is a good thing!pahootahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18015860646865962851noreply@blogger.com
