From the other hand I strongly recommend BGK to anyone needs a ww2 game with a lot of "feeling" of the period.
Vaggelishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15240280211237544167noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8394777082320559161.post-80141225089280759102013-06-30T20:31:17.830+10:002013-06-30T20:31:17.830+10:00Vaggelis

It is not my favourite (I don't really have one), but it is up near the top of the list, and fun to play. And gets better with each game!Shaun Travershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05691522858410783769noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8394777082320559161.post-49818122293389194582013-06-30T17:55:37.109+10:002013-06-30T17:55:37.109+10:00Hi Shaun! Each subsequent game the rules are getting better and better! Take a sneak peek at my blog of a game between Germans and Americans:

http://20thcenturywargaming.wordpress.com/2013/06/27/capture-the-command-post/Vaggelishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15240280211237544167noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8394777082320559161.post-51853019017892254332013-06-29T08:36:06.699+10:002013-06-29T08:36:06.699+10:00A couple of rules will help make the game a bit mo...A couple of rules will help make the game a bit more fluid. One is the reserve rule, which we did not even use in the last two games! As the reserve rule allows you to put units into reserve to interrupt anytime during the enemy turn, this is very useful. We talked about it a lot the first time we played a few months ago, but did not apply it in these two games. It would really help to focus your troops on the enemy. The second is the rule to allow a unit to pull back - go back into cover and only takes one casualty. There were a few times that 3-4 figures were lost for a squad. Pullback would allow them to come back a bit more.

There may be a couple more rules - Andy has warned me he has read the rulebook again and has some ideas on application of some of the rules!Shaun Travershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05691522858410783769noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8394777082320559161.post-11459934343861684292013-06-29T00:30:59.247+10:002013-06-29T00:30:59.247+10:00What would you say is the better way to play than ...What would you say is the better way to play than the, "I think we were both suffering the "advance until fired on then stop and fire back" syndrome."

What does your philosophy new to be to counteract this syndrome.

Itineranthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05344688763064409885noreply@blogger.com
